Bag stuff

Q. What sort of material are the bags made of?
A. Most bags are made from a synthetic Polytex fabric which is extremely tough yet comfortable against the human skin. The internal lining is usually of a softer fabric with or without padding and designed to cushion your prized possessions without buffing or scratching them. The outer fabrics are also coated with a water resistant resin to help protect against the accidental spill or inclement weather. Some products are made from cotton, polyurethane or other materials and is stated in the product descriptions.

Q. Does water-resistant mean it will protect my camera or phone from rain and hail?
A. To a certain degree, yes. The bags are not 100% impervious to water but it does offer some extra protection until you find some shelter.

Q. Are the straps comfortable when worn on the shoulder for long periods?
A. The straps are made from high tensile interwoven fibres and come in a variety of thicknesses and widths depending on the bag and function. We recommend you use a Bagman Shoulder Pad when carrying heavy loads for some of the larger Messenger and Notebook Bags so as to ensure you are less likely to get a sore shoulder. After extensive research, we found that taking a rest works a treat too.

Q. Are your bags washable?
A. As a general rule of thumb, a wet cloth will get rid of most daily wear stains.  Our bags don't mind the wet and wild ride in your washing machine either.

Q. How do I know if my laptop, phone, camera or dog will fit in the bag?
A. All of our bags have measurements indicated in the product descriptions. Our Notebook Bags have measurements which indicate the size of the laptop which will fit in it as well.

Q. How accurate are the colours shown on the web pics compared to the actual colours?
A. As close as our IT wizards could get them but it varies depending on your monitor, settings and alcohol intake.

Delivery and warranty stuff

Q. How long will delivery take once I make an online purchase?
A. If we have stock of the item you have ordered, delivery to most areas in Australia is within 3-6 days. If you are ordering from overseas, allow up to 10 days for air mail. If we are out of stock, we will contact you and advise you of a new estimated time of delivery, usually within 4 weeks.

Q. Is it safe buying from your online store?
A. Although we like to have fun here, we take e-commerce and security very seriously. You can read our privacy and security details here. On the other hand if you're more comfortable with speaking with a real person and putting an order via phone, email or fax, we are more than happy to help. Q.  I bought a bag online and found a fault with the bag, do I simply return the bag to Bagman Head Office?
A. This isn't actually a "frequently asked question", more so a "rarely asked question" so technically it's under RAQs. Anyway, to answer simply, yes. Contact us to see if the problem can be helped first, otherwise  send it back to the below address along with your online store invoice/receipt. Your bag will be looked over and either sent for repair or a brand new replacement will be sent out to you.

If you bought the bag from a store, you will need to take it back to the store of purchase and produce your receipt to them. If they hassle you and make you feel unloved, just give us a yell at Head Office and we'll send the boys over to sort it out.

Q. I bought a bag but changed my mind, can I exchange it?
A. As long as the bag is in its original new condition and all tags and packaging are still intact, we can offer a swap or credit note. Delivery costs to and from Bagman Head Office are borne by the purchaser.

Q. What is the warranty on your products?
A. 12 months. But honestly they should last a lifetime. Insider tip - keep your receipt and it just might.

Other stuff

Q. What currency are the prices on the web site?
A. Aussie Dollars mate.

Q. I saw your product in Europe but it was called Caseman. What's the deal here?
A. Caseman is our brand in selected territories in Europe. We are all in the same family and the materials, construction and identity are the same. You may see some products only available exclusively under Caseman and vice-versa.

Q. I want to see the bags in person, where can I go?
A. We are compiling a retail location list soon but in the meantime, contact us and we'll try and steer you in the right direction.

Q. I have a great bag idea and can I order a custom designed bag?
A. We are all artists in life. So why not? So as long as the requests are reasonable and are of a larger volume, we can do custom designs but every case is unique so give us a  buzz  to see if we can help. Otherwise you are welcome to provide suggestions for our upcoming new products and designs. We are the bag of the people after all. We also have planned in future a simple custom design bag tool on our web site so you can specify more intricate colour combinations or include custom text on your bag. So stay tuned.

Q. Can I get a discount for a large order?
A. Yes. If you want to order more than 10 bags for corporate promotions, seminars, parties, or large events, please contact us for special pricing.

Q. I want to be a reseller because I could sell a ton of these bags! How do I go about it?
